    Nóta "Set up in 1987 by Council of Europe Resolution Res(87)2 setting up a co-operation group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters (24.6.2020).Its field of action covers the knowledge of hazards, risk prevention, risk management, post-crisis analysis and rehabilitation.NB: The Council of Europe uses the name 'EUR-OPA Major Hazard Agreement' to refer to the administrative entity, the Co-operation Group for the prevention of, protection against, and organisation of relief in major natural and technological disasters, set up by Council of Europe Resolution RES(87)2 (24.6.2020). A Council of Europe Partial Agreement is not, in fact, a treaty, but merely a form of cooperation within the organisation. From a statutory point of view, a partial agreement remains an activity of the Organisation in the same way as other programme activities, except that a partial agreement has its own budget and working methods which are determined solely by the members of the partial agreement."

    Nóta Established in 1947 as the Sub-Commission on Prevention of Discrimination and Protection of Minorities, renamed in 1999 the Sub-Commission on the Promotion and Protection of Human Rights, it was the main subsidiary body of the Commission on Human Rights (replaced by the Human Rights Council in 2006). In its decision 1/102 of 30 June 2006, the Human Rights Council decided to extend exceptionally for one year, subject to the review to be undertaken by the Council in conformity with General Assembly resolution 60/251, the mandates and mandate-holders of the Sub-commission. On 18 June 2007, the Sub-Commission was replaced by a new Human Rights Council Advisory Committee.
