- Sainmhíniú A group of persons associated for some common lawful purpose in a body, normally under such a name as association, club or society, which body is, however, not incorporated and thereby made into a legal entity by itself. The consequences of not being incorporated are that the body has no existence apart from the members, that it cannot own property (...) and generally cannot incur criminal liability.
