- Nóta "If, after the authentication of a text, the signatory and contracting states are agreed that it contains an error, it can be corrected by initialling the corrected treaty text, by executing or exchanging an instrument containing the correction or by executing the corrected text of the whole treaty by the same procedure as in the case of the original text. - Sainmhíniú Correction: la correction d'un traité intervient lorsqu'il y a une erreur dans son texte. Si, après l'authentification du texte d'un traité, les États signataires et les États contractants conviennent ensemble que ce texte contient une erreur, elle peut être corrigée par les moyens suivants: Paraphe du texte du traité auquel les corrections ont été apportées; Consignation de la correction par l'établissement d'un instrument ou un échange d'instruments; ou Établissement d'un texte corrigé pour l'ensemble du traité suivant la procédure utilisée à l'origine pour le traité. Lorsqu'il s'agit d'un traité pour lequel il existe un dépositaire, celui-ci notifie aux États signataires et aux États contractants l'erreur et la proposition de la corriger.
