Dezember 1995 über die Durchführung der Endphase der Zollunion, Art. 52"; Nóta Auf offizielle Aufforderung der Türkei an den Rat vom Juni 2022 hin wurde entschieden, in Englisch die Benennungen Türkiye/Republic of Türkiye (anstelle von Turkey/Republic of Turkey) zu verwenden. Diese Entscheidung wirkt sich nicht auf die Praxis in Deutsch aus, wo weiterhin die Benennungen Türkei/Republik Türkei verwendet werden, mit Ausnahme von förmlicher Kommunikation mit der Türkei bzw. von Abkommen, die direkt mit der Türkei geschlossen werden, wo die Vollform Republik Türkiye zu verwenden ist.

Cette décision n'a pas d'incidence sur la pratique en français et les appellations Turquie/République de Turquie doivent être conservées.
