    Comment "Nach deutschem Recht können nur Freiheitsstrafen von höchstens zwei Jahren zur Bewährung ausgesetzt werden. Die Voraussetzungen sind je nach Strafhöhe unterschiedlich; zu den Einzelheiten siehe § 56 StGB ( http://www.gesetze-im-internet.de/stgb/__56.html ). . Das Gericht bestimmt eine Bewährungszeit zwischen zwei und fünf Jahren (nicht zu verwechseln mit der Dauer der Strafe, die deutlich kürzer sein kann). Dem Verurteilten können Auflagen und/oder Weisungen erteilt werden und er kann der Aufsicht eines Bewährungshelfers unterstellt werden. Geldstrafen können genau genommen nicht zur Bewährung ausgesetzt werden, auch wenn dies von juristischen Laien teilweise so ausgedrückt wird.
