    Comment "Le mécanisme pour l'interconnexion en Europe financera des projets qui créeront les maillons manquants des réseaux européens dans le domaine des transports, de l'énergie et de l'infrastructure numérique. Il assurera également la promotion de modes de transport plus propres et de connexions à haut débit très rapides, et facilitera l'utilisation des énergies renouvelables conformément à la stratégie Europe 2020, faisant ainsi de l'économie européenne une économie plus verte. De plus, le financement des réseaux dans le domaine de l'énergie renforcera l'intégration du marché intérieur de l'énergie, réduira la dépendance énergétique de l'Union européenne et améliorera la sécurité de l'approvisionnement.
