    Comment The register lists formal and informal advisory bodies established either by Commission decisions or informally by the Commission services and provides key information on those groups, such as the lead service in the Commission, the group's tasks as well as the category of participants. The register also contains number of other entities which have not been created by the Commission and/or the main tasks of which differ from those of expert groups, i.e. similar entities. This new category will not include other groups, such as joint entities and sector and cross-industry social dialogue committees, which are currently not listed in the Register.

    Comment Le registre recense à la fois les groupes d'experts de la Commission et d'autres entités similaires, c'est-à-dire les organes consultatifs mis en place par le législateur de l'Union — et non par la Commission —, qui jouent un rôle similaire ou identique à celui des groupes d'experts de la Commission et sont administrés et gérés financièrement par celle-ci. Pour chaque groupe d'experts, le registre fournit des informations concrètes, y compris sur le service de la Commission dirigeant le groupe, ainsi que sur ses membres, sa mission et ses tâches. Le registre inclut également des documents pertinents préparés et examinés par les groupes. Les groupes d’experts en question aident la Commission à préparer des propositions législatives, d’initiatives politiques, d’actes délégués, à mettre en œuvre de la législation, des programmes et des politiques de l’Union, et à préparer en amont des actes d’exécution avant leur soumission au comité.
