    Comment "Rang taxonomique: sous-espèce (IATE:1624378 ).Les sources scientifiques sont en désaccord sur le terme valide en Latin, à savoir celui de l'espèce Diplodus sargus (IATE:3571034 ) ou de la sous-espèce Diplodus sargus sargus. Les sources semblent néanmoins s'accorder sur le fait que ce dernier terme porte sur le stock de Méditerranée, même si les deux termes latins sont parfois utilisés comme synonymes."
