- Sainmhíniú Pilot programme launched by the IAEA in 1997 (supported by WCO and Interpol) to "work out the technical requirements and the practicability of a useful monitoring system at border crossings" for gamma and neutron radiation detection in the context of illicit trafficking of nuclear material for criminal purposes.
