- Nóta Dans le contexte de la réinstallation, le terme pays tiers ne revêt pas la même acception selon qu'il est utilisé par l'UE ou par un État en dehors de celle-ci.Dans le contexte de l'UE, on entend par pays tiers un pays d'origine ou de transit situé en dehors de l'UE. La réinstallation désigne donc le transfert d'un pays tiers vers un pays de l'UE.Dans un contexte autre que l'UE, on entend souvent par pays tiers le pays de destination finale de la personne concernée, qui n'est donc ni le pays d'origine, ni le pays de transit.
