    Comment "À des fins statistiques, la FAO a divisé la carte du monde en 27 principales zones de pêche (IATE:919569 ), lesquelles sont à leur tour divisées en: 1. sous-zones 2. divisions (IATE:919570 ) 3. sous-divisions (IATE:3549106 ). Cette pratique a par exemple été mise en œuvre par l'OPANO, pour la zone de pêche 21, et par le CIEM, pour la zone 27.
