- Nóta "The term has certainly been used increasingly over the last decade, and seems therefore to be worth acknowledging, however it is difficult to find a reliable definition. According to the source below, the term is essentially a ‘rebranding’ of climate change [ IATE:867624 ] 'to include a larger range of seemingly unusual climatic events […] The basic problem with the term climate disruption is that it is often 'pinned' on climate events well before any meaningful research or analysis has been done to determine if this is indeed the cause.
