- Comment "Regulation (EU) 2019/2019 entered into force on 25 December 2019, but does not apply until 1 March 2021. This concept is defined in a more detailed manner in Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010 as a frozen-food storage compartment in which the temperature is < 0 °C and which can also be used for the freezing and storage of ice but is not intended for the storage of highly perishable foodstuffs. Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010 will be repealed (by Delegated Regulation (EU) 2019/2016) with effect from 1 March 2021, and the old definition will cease to apply. Delegated Regulation (EU) No 1060/2010 deals with 'household refrigerating appliances', while Regulation (EU) 2019/2019 deals with 'refrigerating appliances'.
