- Nóta Gendersensibles Monitoring und Evaluierung wird eingesetzt, um aufzudecken, ob ein Programm die unterschiedlichen Prioritäten und Bedürfnissen von Frauen und Männern berücksichtigt, um zu beurteilen, ob es Auswirkungen auf die Geschlechterbeziehungen hat, und um die Geschlechteraspekte zu bestimmen, die in die Monitoring- und Evaluierungssysteme einbezogen werden müssen. Die Einbindung expliziter Gleichstellungsziele und -indikatoren in der Planungsphase stärkt auch die Rechenschaftspflicht bezüglich der in Gleichstellungsfragen erzielten Fortschritte. Effektives geschlechtergerechtes Monitoring und Evaluierung muss sowohl qualitative als auch quantitative Daten heranziehen, mit denen die Auswirkungen auf die Geschlechterbeziehungen gemessen werden. Ohne ausreichende Daten gestaltet sich eine aussagekräftige Analyse der Auswirkungen auf die Geschlechtergleichstellung sehr schwierig. Dies impliziert auch, dass als Minimalanforderung alle Daten geschlechtsspezifisch aggregiert erhoben, dargestellt und analysiert werden sollten.

- Nóta Gender-sensitive monitoring and evaluation is used to reveal whether a programme addresses the different priorities and needs of women and men, to assess if it has an impact on gender relations, and to determine the gender aspects that need to be integrated into monitoring and evaluation systems. The inclusion of explicit gender equality objectives and indicators at the planning stage also strengthens accountability in terms of the progress made on gender equality issues. Effective gender-responsive monitoring and evaluation needs to include both qualitative and quantitative data that measure the impact on gender relations. Without sufficient data, a meaningful analysis of the impact on gender equality is very difficult. This also implies that, as a minimum, all data should be collected, presented and analysed in a sex-disaggregated manner.

- Nóta Le suivi et l'évaluation sensibles au genre permettent de savoir si un programme tient compte des différences entre les priorités et besoins des femmes et des hommes; il permet d'évaluer son impact sur les relations de genre, et de déterminer les aspects du genre qui doivent être intégrés aux systèmes de suivi et d'évaluation. L'inclusion d'objectifs et d'indicateurs explicites en matière d'égalité de genre au stade de la planification renforce également la responsabilité en termes de progrès réalisés sur les questions liées à l'égalité de genre. Pour être effectif, le processus de suivi et d'évaluation tenant compte de la dimension de genre repose sur l'inclusion de données qualitatives et quantitatives mesurant l'impact sur les relations entre les femmes et les hommes. À défaut de données suffisantes, une analyse significative de l'impact sur l'égalité de genre est très difficile. Cela suppose également, au minimum, que toutes les données soient collectées, présentées et analysées sous la forme de données sexuées.
