    Nóta Durch die Verordnung wird eine Fazilität für die Gewährung eines finanziellen Beistands der Union für Mitgliedstaaten geschaffen, die nicht dem Euro-Währungsgebiet angehören und dievon Zahlungsbilanzschwierigkeiten betroffen oder bedroht sind. Der finanzielle Beistand kann in Form eines Darlehens oder einer Kreditlinie gewährt werden, wobei der ausstehende Betrag auf 50 Mrd. EUR begrenzt ist. Bei der Kreditlinie kann es sich um eine vorsorgliche bedingte Kreditlinie („precautionary conditioned credit line“ – PCCL), also eine an bestimmte Anspruchsvoraussetzungen geknüpfte Kreditlinie, handeln oder um eine Kreditlinie mit verschärften Bedingungen („enhanced conditions credit line“ – ECCL), d. h. eine Kreditlinie, die bei Erfüllung bestimmter Anspruchsvoraussetzungen und gleichzeitiger Einleitung neuer politischer Maßnahmen bereitgestellt wird.
