Más rud é, ar imeachtaí a chur ar atráth amhlaidh, go dtabharfaidh an Chúirt treoracha faoi alt 20 (2) den Acht maidir le cúram agus coimeád an linbh nó go ndéanfaidh sí ordú maoirseachta maidir leis an leanbh go dtí go bhfaighfear an toradh ar an imscrúdú ag an mbord sláinte.
Where, upon so adjourning, the Court gives directions under section 20 (2) of the Act as to the care and custody of the child or makes a supervision order in respect of the child pending the outcome of the investigation by the health board.
