    Comment Le poids de la dette est le plus souvent utilisé en référence à la dette publique d'un État et correspond au ratio dette publique/PIB. Lorsqu'il est question du poids de la dette des ménages ou du poids de la dette des entreprises, c'est le plus souvent dans un contexte macroéconomique. À ne pas confondre avec la charge de la dette qui correspond aux dépenses consacrées au paiement des intérêts de sa dette.
