- Nóta When an agreement fulfils the conditions set out in a block exemption regulation, individual notification of that agreement is not necessary: the agreement is automatically valid and enforceable. - Sainmhíniú Règlement, arrêté par la Commission ou par le Conseil en application de l'article 81, paragraphe 3, du traité CE, énonçant les conditions dans lesquelles certains types d'accords peuvent bénéficier d'une exemption à l'interdiction générale prévue par l'article 81, paragraphe 1, du traité CE. Lorsqu'un accord remplit les conditions prévues dans un règlement d'exemption par catégorie, il n'est pas soumis à l'obligation de notification individuelle: il est automatiquement valide et exécutoire. Il existe, par exemple, des règlements d'exemption par catégorie pour les accords verticaux, les accords de recherche et de développement, les accords de spécialisation, les accords de transfert de technologie et les accords de distribution automobile.
