    Comment Bien que d'un point de vue purement terminologique, le terme anglais "pandemic" corresponde au terme français "pandémie" (une flambée épidémique qui s'est propagée dans le monde entier) et le terme anglais "outbreak" au terme français "flambée épidémique" (apparition brusque et soudaine de nombreux cas d'une maladie), une tendance marquée est observée en anglais d'utiliser "outbreak" pour parler de la pandémie de COVID-19, auquel cas, il est approprié de traduire "COVID-19 outbreak" par "pandémie de COVID-19".Voir aussi: COVID-19
