    Nóta Ce règlement énonce des règles et procédures visant à ce que l'Union exerce de manière effective et en temps utile ses droits de suspendre ou de retirer des concessions ou d'autres obligations au titre d'accords commerciaux internationaux, dans l'intention de:- répondre aux violations par des pays tiers de règles du commerce international qui affectent les intérêts de l'Union, en vue de rechercher une solution satisfaisante qui rétablisse les avantages pour les opérateurs économiques de l'Union;- rééquilibrer des concessions ou d’autres obligations dans les relations commerciales avec des pays tiers, lorsque le traitement accordé aux marchandises ou aux services de l’Union est altéré d’une manière qui porte atteinte aux intérêts de l’Union.
