    Nóta "Voir aussi: économie circulaire [ IATE:2222052 ]Ne pas confondre avec économie bleue [ IATE:3545345 ]Parmi les principes fondamentaux de l'économie bleue nous trouvons:- L'utilisation de ressources locales (matières premières, énergie ou compétences).- Une préférence pour les processus physiques par rapport aux processus chimiques, tout comme les processus naturels qui se font à basse pression et à basse température. De même le solvant utilisé est l'eau et tous les éléments utilisés dans le processus sont biodégradables.- Privilégier les solutions qui utilisent la gravité ou le soleil comme source d'énergie.- La collaboration entre les cinq règnes (algues, champignons, végétaux, bactéries, animaux).- L'utilisation des déchets comme nutriments pour d'autres (Il n'y a pas de décharges dans la Nature). On est à l'opposé de la linéarité qu'on connaît dans l'économie classique où l'on produit, utilise et jette en gaspillant les ressources et en accumulant les déchets. Source:ibid."
