It would be selectively awarded to joint study programmes that lead to the award of a joint degree, and which meet a pre-defined list of criteria agreed at European level. This label would be implemented in the form of a European Degree label certificate, which would be added to the diploma awarded by the partner institutions. A generic European Degree label certificate template, common across the EU, would be used for this purpose."
